(APSU)<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!--more-->The University has two major construction projects taking place this summer\u2014the renovation of the Trahern Building and the construction of the new Art and Design Building.<\/p>\n<p>Both sites, which are surrounded by fencing, are closed to the public, and they are considered property of the construction companies until the projects are completed.<\/p>\n<p>Several individuals have entered these sites since the release of the Pok\u00e9mon Go app earlier this week, not realizing they were trespassing on private property.These are active construction sites, and individuals are risking serious injury by entering these prohibited areas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe problem has become so pervasive in the last few days that the contractors often have to halt work or put an employee at entry points to prevent players from entering the sites,\u201d Marc Brunner, director of University Design and Construction, said.<\/p>\n<p>The APSU campus does have several other \u201cPok\u00e9stops\u201d where players can check-in and collect virtual items.
