Bring all your fears and phobias, and let us scare them out of you!<\/p>\n<p>Two performances are set for Friday, October 30th at 6:00pm and 8:00pm in the George and Sharon Mabry Concert Hall in the Music\/Mass Communications Building on the University campus.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/2015-APSU-Percussion-Ensemble-Halloween-Concert.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-325799\" title=\"2015 APSU Percussion Ensemble Halloween Concert\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/2015-APSU-Percussion-Ensemble-Halloween-Concert-480x360.jpg\" alt=\"2015 APSU Percussion Ensemble Halloween Concert\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/><\/a><!--more-->Admission is two cans of food, donated to Loaves &amp; Fishes soup kitchen, or $3.00.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s program opens with African Welcome Piece featuring the Scream Their Heads Off Vocal Ensemble. There are exciting arrangements of Prokofiev\u2019s \u201cDance of the Knights,\u201d Debussy\u2019s \u201cClair De Lune,\u201d Mahler\u2019s \u201cAdagio,\u201d Sibelius\u2019 \u201cFinlandia\u201d and Berlioz\u2019s \u201cMarch to the Scaffold,\u201d featuring the Blow Their Heads Off Brass Band.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s even music from the movies \u201cMission Impossible\u201d and \u201cBeetlejuice!\u201d Against better judgment, other pieces will most certainly feature boomwhackers and garbage cans, with special guest appearances by noted percussionists, Chris Brooks and Chris Crockarell.<\/p>\n<p>As usual, the hall will be festooned in the grandest of Halloween d\u00e9cor. There will be special lighting design and a live video feed will be thrown up on the back wall. Meanwhile, the entire ensemble will be clad in the latest of Halloween fashion.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets are available now in the APSU music office. Get your tickets sooner rather than later, as this concert tends to sell out ahead of time.
