There are a total of 8 one-hour long sessions included in the program. Tai Chi will take place on Tuesdays from 4:00pm to 5:00pm, August 11th through September 29th.<\/p>\n<p>Tai Chi involves stretching and different chair exercises. Improved balance, increased flexibility, and reduced stress are benefits you can receive from participating.<!--more-->Studies show that Tai Chi improves and possibly prevents chronic conditions including arthritis, heart disease, and diabetes. It also relaxes and improves overall mind, body, and spirit.<\/p>\n<p>Reserving your spot early is important because the class is limited to a maximum of 20 participants! The program is available for adults of any age who are interested.<\/p>\n<p>The cost for the entire 8-week program is $20.00. Participants can register at the Crow Center, the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Main office, or online. A Community Center ID is required and can be purchased for $5.00.
