\"ClarksvilleClarksville, TN<\/strong> – Adults at least 50-years-old can register now through Monday, May 4th for Clarksville\u2019s 50-Plus Olympics.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s events will be held May 12th-16th at various locations around Clarksville, to include the Pinnacle Bowling Center, Swan Lake Sports Complex, D&D Blacklight Mini Golf, Rossview High School track, and the Crow & Kleeman Community Centers.<\/p>\n

\"2015<\/a>Competitors will face off for bragging rights, as well as medals in 20 challenging events, which include shuffleboard, tennis, track, bowling, basketball free throw, pickle ball and glow-in-the-dark mini golf.<\/p>\n

The Clarksville 50-Plus Olympics will begin with an opening reception at 10:00am on Tuesday, May 12th, at Uffelman Estates, located at 215 Uffelman Drive.<\/p>\n

The closing dinner and awards ceremony will feature a fun and carefree Mardi Gras theme and will be held at 5:30pm on Saturday, May 16th at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center at Liberty Park.<\/p>\n

Dinner tickets are included in the registration cost, but for others who would like to attend the dinner and award ceremony, a $10.00 ticket may be purchased at the Clarksville Parks and Recreation office.<\/p>\n

Participants who register on or before April 24th qualify for the Early Bird Rate of $20.00. Cost to register April 25th through May 4th is $25.00. Registration fee includes complimentary event t-shirt, swag bag, and dinner ticket.<\/p>\n

Registration forms are available at the Parks and Recreation office at 102 Public Square or any of our three community centers. A printable version of the registration form can be found online at www.cityofclarksville.com\/50plusolympics<\/a><\/p>\n
