\"TheClarksville, TN<\/strong> – The Customs House Museum and Cultural Center is located in historic downtown Clarksville, Tennessee. Come explore an entire city block featuring large gallery spaces filled with fine art, science and history.<\/p>\n

Some of the events in January at the Museum are: In the Garden: A Women\u2019s History Month Exhibition, Sergio Gomez: The Land In Between, Go Figure!, Westward Ho! and April in the Children\u2019s Room: Birds, Blossoms, and Bunnies.<\/p>\n

Family Fun Day: Rabbits Galore!<\/strong>
\nApril 11th, 10:00am \u2013 4:00pm.<\/p>\n

Hop in today and join us for a trip down the rabbit hole to visit the Velveteen Rabbit, Brer Rabbit, Peter Rabbit, and all kinds of rabbit cousins.<\/p>\n

There will be bunnies to make, rabbit poems to illustrate, games to play, and lots of rabbit stories to read. Come help us make a bunny wall like Mr. Hunt Slonum\u2019s painting in the museum lobby.<\/p>\n

April in the Children\u2019s Room: Birds, Blossoms, and Bunnies<\/strong><\/p>\n

[320right]After the February Freeze and the March Mess, spring has finally arrived. Visit the Children\u2019s Room to celebrate! Come help us decorate.<\/p>\n

There will be books to read, puzzles to complete, puppets to pretend with, crafts to make, art to enjoy, objects to examine, and things to try every day. The Children\u2019s Room provides exhibit-related, hands-on learning experiences for families.<\/p>\n

Activities vary weekly, so drop in often!<\/p>\n

Art & Lunch: Painting Demo in the Garden<\/strong>
\nApril 16th, 12:15pm<\/p>\n

Artists whose work appear in the exhibit In the Garden will be giving painting demonstrations in the museum courtyard (or in the museum galleries in the event of rain). This program is in conjunction with In the Garden and Women\u2019s History Month.<\/p>\n

The museum will be closed Sunday, April 5th for Easter Sunday.<\/p>\n

About the Customs House Museum<\/h3>\n

\"Customs<\/a>Located in the heart of historic downtown Clarksville, Tennessee, the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center is the State\u2019s second largest general museum.<\/p>\n

With over 35,000 square feet of the region\u2019s best hands-on activities and special events\u2026people of all ages agree \u2013 the Customs House Museum is well worth the stop!<\/p>\n

The Explorer\u2019s Gallery is packed with fun, learning and fantasy in Aunt Alice\u2019s Attic, McGregor\u2019s Market and kitchen, and of course \u2013 the Bubble Cave! Finally, get \u201call aboard\u201d to see our fantastic model trains. Our volunteer engineers \u201cride the rails\u201d every Sunday afternoon from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.<\/p>\n

Regular museum hours are 10:00am to 5:00pm Tuesday through Saturday, and 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Sundays. Adult admission is $7.00, Senior Citizens and College ID $5.00, Ages 6 to 18 $3.00, and under six years and Museum members are free.<\/p>\n
