The cave and its surrounding 110 acres have considerable scenic, natural and historical significance. The entrance offered shelter to prehistoric Native Americans as far back as 10,000 years.<\/p>\n<p>Dunbar Cave State Natural Area will present many nature programs during the year. Meet at River Bottom Trail parking lot.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reservations by:<\/strong> 4:30pm January 21st.<br \/>\n<strong>Program Leader:<\/strong> Adam Neblett, Ranger<\/p>\n<h3>Dunbar&#8217;s History<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Time:<\/strong> 4:00pm \u2013 5:00pm<br \/>\n<strong>Ages:<\/strong> 8 &#8211; adult<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy a walk around the area as you learn about our history.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reservations by:<\/strong> 4:30pm January 21st.<br \/>\n<strong>Program Leader:<\/strong> Adam Neblett, Ranger<\/p>\n<h3>Saturday, January 24th<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Learn About Dunbar Cave<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Time:<\/strong> 10:00am \u2013 11:00am<br \/>\n<strong>Ages:<\/strong> All<\/p>\n<p>Come out for a short walk around the grounds to learn about Dunbar Cave SNA.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reservations by:<\/strong> 4:30pm January 22nd.<br \/>\n<strong>Program Leader:<\/strong> Amy Wallace, Interpretive Specialist<\/p>\n<h3>Monday, January 26th<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Woods In Winter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Time:<\/strong> 3:00pm \u2013 4:30pm<br \/>\n<strong>Ages:<\/strong> Adults<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy a walk through the woods as you learn about the plants and animals of winter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reservations by:<\/strong> 4:30pm January 24th.<br \/>\n<strong>Program Leader:<\/strong> Amy Wallace, Interpretive Specialist<\/p>\n<h3>Dunbar Cave State Park Programs Information<\/h3>\n<p>Programs are free unless noted otherwise. All programs require reservations by the Deadline Listed.
