Nothing to do this Spring Break? Head over to any of our three community centers for some FUN!<\/p>\n<h3>Burt-Cobb Community Center<\/h3>\n<p>The Center will have activities to include racquetball play, pool tournaments, relay races, 3-point shootouts and more!\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>Kleeman Community Center<\/h3>\n<p>On March 23 from 11:00 am -1:00 pm join in The Health Department\u2019s discussion focusing on Fitness and Nutrition.\u00a0 Do you love the Wii? <!--more-->Come to Kleeman Community Center to take part in Wii tournaments that will be offered throughout the week. Don\u2019t forget your painting clothes March 24 to take part in Kleeman\u2019s fun Spring Break Art Project- painting murals on trash cans!<\/p>\n<h3>Crow Community Center<\/h3>\n<p>Kids have two opportunities to learn about scrapbooking at the Arts &amp; Crafts sessions which will take place from 12:00-4:00 pm, both March 23 and 25.\u00a0 If you love shooting pool, head to the Crow Center March 23 at 11:00 am for a pool tournament.\u00a0 A basketball tournament will also be held March 24 at noon and teams will be decided that day.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"communitycenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/communitycenter-480x128.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"128\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Spring Break activities will be free with a Center ID card.\u00a0 All visitors to the community centers must have a valid community center ID card which costs only $5 for the year or they may purchase a one-day visitor\u2019s pass for $1. \u00a0For more information contact Burt-Cobb Community Center at 552-1263, Kleeman Community Center at 647-3056, or Crow Community Center at 647-3071.<\/p>\n<h3>Hop on over to the Heritage Park Soccer Complex for the 2010 Spring Eggstravaganza!<\/h3>\n<p>Join us Sunday, March 28<sup>th<\/sup> from 2:00-5:00 pm for games, The Clarksville Family Magazine Petting Zoo, a three-legged-race, an egg-on-a-spoon-race and the hunting of over 20,000 eggs.\u00a0 Kids can even pay a visit to the Easter Bunny himself!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Times for the egg hunts will be:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ages 0-2 years, 2:30 pm (Must be accompanied by an adult)<\/li>\n<li>Ages 3-5 years, 3:00 pm<\/li>\n<li>Ages 6-8 years, 4:00 pm<\/li>\n<li>Ages 9-12 years 4:30 pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Races:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Egg-on-Spoon Race, 3:15 pm<\/li>\n<li>Three-Legged Race, 3:30 pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Youth Baseball and Adult Softball Leagues<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" title=\"softball\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/softball-200x182.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"140\" height=\"127\" \/>The Youth Recreation League registration is going strong and and will continue accepting registrations until April 2<sup>nd<\/sup>.\u00a0 Over 100 of our newest addition to the league, the 3-4 year old T-ball Tykes have already registered! You can register your child at any of our three community centers or at the Parks and Recreation office.\u00a0 The cost is $30 for 3 &amp; 4 year olds, and $35 for 5-12 year olds.\u00a0 Please remember to bring a copy of the child\u2019s birth certificate for age verification.\u00a0 Parents are also encouraged to volunteer to coach &#8211; even if it isn\u2019t for your own child\u2019s team.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>Pitch, Hit, and Run<\/h3>\n<p>Registration is underway for Pitch, Hit and Run.\u00a0 You may register your child at any of our three community centers or the Parks &amp; Recreation main office.\u00a0 Registrations will also be accepted the day of the event.\u00a0 This event will be held at Heritage Park Softball Fields on April 17<sup>th<\/sup> at 1:00 pm.<\/p>\n<p>This is the official skills competition of Major League Baseball and is comprised of 3 parts: The \u201cPitch\u201d contest allows youth to attempt to throw strikes like MLB pitchers by pitching to hit the MLB Strike Zone.\u00a0 The \u201cHit\u201d contest is a chance for competitors to take a swing from home plate and be judged on distance and accuracy just like in MLB.\u00a0 After pitching and hitting, comes the \u201cRun\u201d portion of the competition.\u00a0 Competitors start at 2<sup>nd<\/sup> base and test their speed running into home plate.<\/p>\n<p>The competition is open to baseball enthusiasts ages 7-14.\u00a0 Competitors will be divided into four age divisions: 7\/8 years, 9\/10 years, 11\/12 years, and 13\/14 years.\u00a0 New this year, girls will also have their own division.\u00a0 Participants will have the opportunity to advance through four levels of competition with the final round ending at the National Finals at the 2010 MLB All Star Game.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For more information, please contact 931-645-7476.<\/p>\n<h3>Billy Dunlop will be CLOSED to the Public<\/h3>\n<p>Due to a scouting event, Billy Dunlop Park will be closed to the Public all day Saturday, March 20, 2010.
