\"Clarksville<\/a>Clarksville, TN<\/strong> – Children of all ages are encouraged to come to Christmas on the Cumberland for fun, family-friendly activities. Christmas on the Cumberland is open nightly from 5:00pm to 10:00pm Sunday through Thursday, and 5:00pm to 11:00pm Fridays and Saturdays through January 3rd, 2015. Admission to the event is free.<\/p>\n

Activities will take place from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, this Friday and Saturday, December 19th and 20th.<\/p>\n

\"2014<\/a>Think you\u2019d make a great elf? Grab your friends Friday evening and try your hand at \u2018Elf School,\u2019 complete with Christmas-themed relays and challenges. Graduate from Elf School to earn a diploma and become an honorary elf!<\/p>\n

Saturday evening, children and their families can craft a holiday ornament filled with wishes and magic snow, Santa will be there, too; parents, don\u2019t forget your cameras!<\/p>\n

Visitors are also encouraged to help local nonprofits in need by participating in Giving on the Cumberland by taking a \u201crequest ornament\u201d from a Christmas tree in the McGregor Park Museum and bringing their donation to the Clarksville Parks and Recreation main office (102 Public Square) during business hours, Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, or to the museum December 19th-20th, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, where you\u2019ll also be given a chance to meet the participating nonprofits.<\/p>\n
