Families are welcome to have photos taken of their children as they visit Santa\u2019s elves, enjoy snacks and games, all at no cost.<\/p>\n<p>The Kleeman Community Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane, will host Snowflakes with Santa on Wednesday, December 10th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Kids can create their own snowflake craft, listen to holiday music, enjoy refreshments, and take photos with Santa Claus!<\/p>\n<p>The Burt-Cobb Community Center, located at 1011 Franklin Street, will host a Community Christmas Party on Thursday, December 11th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. The Center will host games, food and opportunities to write a letter to Santa.<\/p>\n<p>Young and old alike may enjoy cookies, punch, and merriment at the Crow Community Center, located at 211 Richview Road, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm on Monday, December 15th. You can write your letter to Mr. Claus and send it along with his elves!<\/p>\n<h3>Christmas in Occupied Clarksville<\/h3>\n<p>Make plans to visit Fort Defiance Interpretive Center on Sunday, December 14th from 3:00pm to 6:00pm to experience the holidays as soldiers and civilians did in the 1860\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors to the event will be able to step back in time and see period decorations, visit with a nineteenth century Santa, and enjoy eggnog, cakes and caroling. The event is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<h3>Swim with Santa<\/h3>\n<p>[320right]This year your child can \u2018Swim with Santa\u2019 at the Indoor Aquatic Center! Santa will be visiting the pool from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, December 13th.<\/p>\n<p>Families can enjoy refreshments, crafts, a photo booth and swimming!<\/p>\n<p>When Santa heads back to the North Pole, feel free to stick around and swim! Cost is $3.00 and includes admission to the pool. Everyone entering the facility must pay admission.<\/p>\n<h3>Christmas on the Cumberland &amp; Free Activities<\/h3>\n<p>Christmas on the Cumberland, the City\u2019s popular lighted, walk-through event is now open at McGregor Park! Christmas on the Cumberland is open nightly from 5:00pm to 10:00pm, Sunday through Thursday and 5:00pm to 11:00pm, Fridays and Saturdays through January 3rd, 2015. Admission to the event is free.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t miss these upcoming free family friendly activities taking place from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the McGregor Park Museum:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>December 12th &amp; 13th<\/strong> \u2013 Gingerbread Houses (Pre-registration is required at recpro.cityofclarksville.com)<\/li>\n<li><strong>December 19th<\/strong> \u2013 Elf School Relays<\/li>\n<li><strong>December 19th &amp; 20th<\/strong> \u2013 Giving on the Cumberland<\/li>\n<li><strong>December 20th<\/strong> \u2013 Holiday Ornaments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Don\u2019t miss your chance to visit with Santa from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, December 13th and 20th.<\/p>\n<h3>Indoor Aquatic Center to host New Year\u2019s Eve Splash<\/h3>\n<p>Ring in the New Year at the Indoor Aquatic Center\u2019s 3rd annual New Year\u2019s Eve Splash! Join us from 8:30pm to 12:30am on Monday, December 31st. Party-goers can enjoy music, refreshments and free access to \u201cThe Aqua Run\u201d wibit and \u201cThe Aqua Climb\u201d climbing wall. Admission is $3.00.<\/p>\n<p>Event is open to all ages.
