\"Clarksville's<\/a>Clarksville, TN<\/strong> \u2013 Nashville artist Anthony Scarlati brings his latest works to the Customs House as part of the museum\u2019s Season of Equine. A native of Chicago, Anthony has spent more than twenty years working in the entertainment, sports and equine industries.<\/p>\n

Published photo credits include numerous entertainment, equine and special interest publications along with editorial portraits spanning across all genres of music.<\/p>\n

Now making his home in Middle Tennessee, Anthony works as a contributing photographer for Nashville Arts Magazine and Southern Exposure Magazine. Recent projects include working with music artists such as Chicago, BB King, Take 6, Jeffrey Steele, Terry McBride, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Skip Ewing, Mark Volman of the Turtles and the 2009 Hippy Fest Tour, Vince Gill, Larry Carlton, Steve Cropper, and Marty Stuart along with providing photos for various media, CD and website projects.<\/p>\n

Additional publication credits include BMI Music World, Jazz Times, Country Music Weekly and People.com.<\/p>\n

[320right]Paper Mustangs brings Anthony full-circle to his photography roots of documenting horses. The images and film comprising this exhibit were shot in a four hour span on a windy day in October. Anthony\u2019s muses consist of twelve wild mustangs that had been relocated to Cross Plains, Tennessee. Their vulnerability and beauty seem to float freely from the gallery walls, accompanied by the soft sounds of hooves and breathe of Scarlati\u2019s film footage.<\/p>\n

Also on exhibit during Season of Equine is My Kingdom for a Horse featuring horse themed art and antiques on loan from the Tennessee State Museum, West Tennessee Regional Art Center, and private collection. Other shows include the sports of barrel racing and walking horses, and work by members of the American Academy of Equine Art, Inc. The Crouch Gallery hosts Eric L Hansen\u2019s Blood Rescue, an exhibit of multi-media works based on ancient cave drawings. The Customs House will host one of the horses from Eric\u2019s exhibition on Saturday, December 13th, as part of its celebration of National Horse Day.<\/p>\n

Located in the heart of historic downtown Clarksville, Tennessee, the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center is the State\u2019s second largest general museum. With over 35,000 square feet of the region\u2019s best hands-on activities and special events\u2026people of all ages agree \u2013 the Customs House Museum is well worth the stop!<\/p>\n

The Explorer\u2019s Gallery is packed with fun, learning and fantasy in Aunt Alice\u2019s Attic, McGregor\u2019s Market and kitchen, and of course \u2013 the Bubble Cave! Finally, get \u201call aboard\u201d to see our fantastic model trains. Our volunteer engineers \u201cride the rails\u201d every Sunday afternoon from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.<\/p>\n

Regular museum hours are 10:00am to 5:00pm Tuesday through Saturday, and 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Sundays. Adult admission is $7.00, Sr. Citizens and College ID $5.00, Ages 6 to 18 $3.00, and under six years and Museum members are free.<\/p>\n
