The show is the brainchild of Hank Bonecutter, host of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wjzm.com\/\"  target=\"_blank\">WJZM<\/a>\u2019s The Bone Show, and a local comedian.<\/p>\n<p>Comedy on the Cumberland will bring awareness to and raise money for a program that feeds hungry children in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cmcss.net\/\"  target=\"_blank\">Clarksville\/Montgomery County school system<\/a>. \u201cOver twelve hundred school children leave school on Friday, and don\u2019t have a solid meal again until they return to school on Monday\u201d, said Bonecutter, \u201cThis is embarrassing and unacceptable\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Project F.U.E.L is the life\u2019s mission of one woman, Denise Skidmore, who was led to this effort by her Christian faith. \u201cI was searching for a purpose in my life, wondering what would be my footprint if I were to die today\u201d said Skidmore. \u201cI want to feed every child I can. I won\u2019t stop until they are all taken care of\u201d.<!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"mceTemp\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.discoverclarksville.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/comedyoncumb_poster1.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1934\" title=\"comedyoncumb_poster\" src=\"http:\/\/www.discoverclarksville.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/comedyoncumb_poster1-299x450.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"139\" height=\"215\" \/><\/a>When asked about how he came up with the idea for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Clarksville-Online\/198274520711?v=app_23798139265&amp;ref=nf#!\/pages\/Comedy-on-the-Cumberland\/349041100447?ref=mf\"  target=\"_blank\">Comedy on the Cumberland<\/a>, Hank Bonecutter said \u201d I have been working on this idea since last fall,trying to figure out how I could use use the connections I have generated with other comedians to host stand up comedy events in our community. Comedy on the Cumberland is the beginning of what we hope will be a series of comedy benefits in Clarksville,\u201d Bonecutter continued, \u201cThere currently is not any place in Clarksville to enjoy stand up comedy, but that\u2019s about to change!\u201d<\/div>\n<p>Bonecutter is the owner of Clarksville\u2019s oldest radio station <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wjzm.com\/\"  target=\"_blank\">WJZM<\/a> broadcasting at 1400 AM. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wjzm.com\/\"  target=\"_blank\">WJZM<\/a> is Clarksville\u2019s only radio station committed to local News, Sports, and Talk Radio. \u201cFinding ways to help support our community is just a natural fit for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wjzm.com\/\"  target=\"_blank\">WJZM<\/a>, it\u2019s what my career has been focused on,\u201d said Bonecutter.<\/p>\n<h3>Tickets<\/h3>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/FMbank.jpg\" title=\"F&amp;M Bank\" rel=\"gallery-32292\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" title=\"F&amp;M Bank\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/FMbank.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"73\" \/><\/a>Tickets for this event are $40 each, or $75 a pair, and are 100% tax deductible. You can pick up tickets at the main branch of F&amp;M bank in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.historicdowntownclarksville.org\/\"  target=\"_blank\">Historic Downtown Clarksville<\/a>, and at the central office of the Clarksville Montgomery county school system on Gracy Avenue. Rik is best known for his dead-on impersonation of the legendary Barney Fife. His combination of music and jokes makes him one of the most \u201cin demand\u201d working comics in the country. Dustin Laughtery, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/jonnie_w\"  target=\"_blank\">Jonnie W<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/barbneligan.com\/\"  target=\"_blank\">Barb Neligan<\/a> round out the nights performers.
