The staff works year round with the exception of six weeks of boat maintenance in the winter.<\/p>\n<p>The stop in Clarksville is a part of the steamboat\u2019s latest group tour, which started in Savannah, TN.<\/p>\n<p>While the boat isn\u2019t open for the public to climb aboard, it does host several trips a year along the Mississippi River, Ohio River and Tennessee River and trips can be booked online.<\/p>\n<p>Most trips on the American Queen last seven days.
