Participants can enter as a group (up to 8 people per entry) or as an individual.<\/p>\n<p>The Riverfest Regatta is not your typical boat race. The boats racing down the Cumberland River Saturday morning, September 6th, will be made of cardboard or plastic bottles and a few other approved materials.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_189988\" style=\"width: 490px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Clarksvilles-2013-Riverfest-Regatta.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-189988\" class=\"wp-image-189988 size-medium\" title=\"Clarksville's Riverfest Regatta\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Clarksvilles-2013-Riverfest-Regatta-480x320.jpg\" alt=\"Clarksville's  Riverfest Regatta\" width=\"480\" height=\"320\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-189988\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Clarksville&#8217;s Riverfest Regatta<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!--more-->Not only will teams be racing for bragging rights, but trophies will also be awarded to the first-, second- and third-place teams in each division.<\/p>\n<p>Competition will be in four divisions: Adult Open, Business and Industry, Church\/Civic, and City Department.<\/p>\n<h4>Prior to the race, boats will also be judged for the following awards:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Titanic Award \u2013 best sinking of a boat<\/li>\n<li>Ship Shape Award \u2013 best boat design<\/li>\n<li>Cardboard Queen Award \u2013 prettiest boat<\/li>\n<li>Team Attire Award \u2013 most creative costumes<\/li>\n<li>Team Unity Award \u2013 most spirited and organized team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you think you have what it takes, visit <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/exchange.cityofclarksville.com\/owa\/redir.aspx?C=9ae2a9011c5a4c33bf905b45f944446e&amp;URL=http%3a%2f%2fwww.clarksvilleriverfest.com%2f\" >www.clarksvilleriverfest.com<\/a> to find out more information and to register online.
