Items will be for sale with prices ranging from $2.00 &#8211; $500.00.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_269726\" style=\"width: 490px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Frolic-on-Franklin-Street.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-269726\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-269726\" title=\"Frolic on Franklin Street\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Frolic-on-Franklin-Street-480x358.jpg\" alt=\"Frolic on Franklin Street\" width=\"480\" height=\"358\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-269726\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Frolic on Franklin Street<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!--more-->\u201cOur aim is to highlight local artists, but we\u2019ve begun to attract the attention of regional artists as well,\u201d said Artist Coordinator Michelle Dickerson. \u201cWe have vendors from Dyersburg and Franklin, TN and Allensville, KY. So, there\u2019s a great variety of items for all ages and tastes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A crowd favorite is seeing, and often participating in, artists\u2019 demonstrations. Several booths will offer the opportunity to learn techniques directly from the artists throughout the day.<\/p>\n<p>Some of these include watercolor demonstrations, wood-turning on a lathe, beaded jewelry making, collage activities, portrait drawings, scroll saw cutting, knitting, and weaving.<\/p>\n<h3>Participating artists and their works include:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>2 Old Biddies<\/strong> \u2013 crochet toys and household items, painted bird house gourds<\/li>\n<li><strong>A Stich or Two<\/strong> \u2013 scarves, coasters, dishtowel dresses, baby quilts<\/li>\n<li><strong>Amber Wallace Artwork<\/strong> \u2013 recycled and repurposed mixed-media paintings<\/li>\n<li><strong>Carolyn Rogers<\/strong> \u2013 embroidery and fabric items<\/li>\n<li><strong>Clarksville-Montgomery Co. Bring your dog, dressed to the nines, and enter our Doggie Couture fashion show. Registration will begin at 1:45pm at Tent #7 with the fashion show following at 2:30pm.<\/p>\n<p>[320left]Sponsors of the event are Clarksville\/Montgomery County Arts &amp; Heritage Development Council, F&amp;M Bank, Leaf Media Group, Ledbetter Signs, Legends Bank, MediaWorks, Planters Bank, Richview Dental Center, and Two Rivers Company.<\/p>\n<p>Shops and restaurants throughout the downtown district will be open their regular Saturday hours.
