\"Clarksville'sClarksville, TN<\/strong> – Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery, with support from the Nashville Chive Chapter, recently raised $4,476 for the Folds Of Honor Foundation.<\/p>\n

The \u201cNashville Chive Unofficial Meetup\u201d, presented by Budweiser of Clarksville, was held at Tilted Kilt on May 17th and included a silent auction, limited edition t-shirt sales, drink and menu specials and more with proceeds going to Folds of Honor.<\/p>\n

In addition to Budweiser, additional sponsors for the Chive Meetup included SSF Submission Academy, Touchgolf Products, The Joe Padula Show, and Clarksville Online.<\/p>\n

Folds of Honor Vice President of Corporate Relations Dave Dierinzo accepts a donation from the Tilted Kilt Assistant Manager Chris Williams, Nashville Chive Administrator Whit Noble and the Tilted Kilt Girls. (Laura Thornton)<\/p><\/div>\n

The event raised a total of $3,250 for the foundation and served as kickoff to Tilted Kilt\u2019s \u201cHere\u2019s To The Heroes\u201d national campaign in which Tilted Kilt Clarksville raised another $1,226 for the charity.<\/p>\n

The Folds of Honor Foundation is a national 501(c)3 that provides scholarships and other assistance to children of our soldiers that are disabled or killed while in the line of duty.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were looking for a way to begin Tilted Kilt\u2019s nationwide \u2018Here\u2019s to The Heroes\u2019 Campaign with a bang.\u201d said Laura Thornton, local marketing director for the \u2018Kilt. \u201cAfter learning of the Nashville Chive Chapter\u2019s previous fundraising efforts for other great causes, we knew they would be a perfect fit to partner with on our event. Their group succeeded our expectations, and we look forward to our next event with them in September!\u201d<\/p>\n

A second event is planned for September 27th, 2014 at Tilted Kilt, located at 2790B Wilma Rudolph Boulevard. \u201cNashville Chive Unofficial Meetup, Part Duex Frolic in the Field\u201d will benefit breast cancer charities.<\/p>\n
