The cave and its surrounding 110 acres have considerable scenic, natural and historical significance. The entrance offered shelter to prehistoric Native Americans as far back as 10,000 years.<\/p>\n<p>Dunbar Cave State Natural Area will present many nature programs this summer. Meet at the upper parking lot (beside the Visitor Center).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reservations By:<\/strong> 4:30pm July 30th.<br \/>\n<strong>Program Leader:<\/strong> Adam Neblett, Ranger<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Lake Life<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Time:<\/strong> 7:00pm\u20138:00pm<br \/>\n<strong>Ages:<\/strong> 4-adult<\/p>\n<p>What lives in the lake? We\u2019ll walk around the easy Lake Trail and learn about aquatic plants and animals like turtles, frogs and beavers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reservations By:<\/strong> 4:30pm July 30th.<br \/>\n<strong>Program Leader:<\/strong> Adam Neblett, Park Ranger<\/p>\n<h3>Friday, August 1st<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Fish, Insects and Freshwater Mussels of the Red River<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[320right]<strong>Time:<\/strong> 9:00am\u201310:00am<\/p>\n<p>Have you ever wondered what really lives down there under the water? Come join us at Port Royal State Park near Adams, TN and I bet I can show you fish, mussels and insects that you have never seen before.<\/p>\n<p>Please wear closed toe shoes and clothing that can get wet (or waders). Children under the age of 13 should be accompanied by an adult. Let us show you how to use things found on the park as gym equipment and train to use the human body how nature intended.
