Bates was elected to serve as the secretary\/treasurer for the 2014-15 term.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Aspire Foundation has elected exceptional leadership to the Board this year and I am looking forward to being a part of the strategic work that will continue to improve Clarksville-Montgomery County for all our citizens,\u201d said Stuard, Chair of the Foundation Board.<\/p>\n<p>The Aspire Foundation, a privately-funded economic development and community marketing initiative for Clarksville-Montgomery County, Tennessee, is currently closing out its fifth fundraising campaign. The monies pledged will help to fund initiatives that move the economic landscape of Clarksville-Montogmery County forward.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the Aspire V \u201cFocus On The Future\u201d Campaign has reached just under $4 million in cash investments.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the annual budget process, a 35-person Steering Committee of the Foundation makes recommendations for priorities to be considered by the Board. The member-investors meet routinely in order to discuss business of the Foundation and trends in economic development.<\/p>\n<p>The Steering Committee rotates its members on an annual basis so that each investor has the opportunity to serve over the five year campaign.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Clarksville, TN &#8211; The Aspire Clarksville Foundation is pleased to announce their Board of Directors for the 2014-15 term.
