Entries were received for the contest period between April 1st, 2013, and April 30th, 2014.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>The University\u2019s PR office captured the following awards:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Gold<\/strong> in the Social Media category for #PeayPix, APSU\u2019s new photo project consisting of a photo blog, \u201ccAPture,\u201d at <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.austinpeayphotos.tumblr.com\" >www.austinpeayphotos.tumblr.com<\/a>; an Instagram account, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.instagram.com\/austinpeayphotos;\" >www.instagram.com\/austinpeayphotos;<\/a> a Facebook page, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/austinpeayphotos\" >www.facebook.com\/austinpeayphotos<\/a> and a twitter account, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/peaypix.\" >www.twitter.com\/peaypix.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Gold<\/strong> in the Postcard\/Invitation category for the Candlelight Ball invitation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Silver<\/strong> in the Video Advertisement PSA category for APSU\u2019s \u201cFirst Step\u201d commercial.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Silver<\/strong> in the Specialty Item category for APSU\u2019s \u201cLet\u2019s Go Peay\u201d T-shirt.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Silver<\/strong> in the Low-Budget Publication category for \u201cRegaining Hope,\u201d a fundraising piece that solicited financial support for a program that assists students who lose their HOPE scholarships.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Silver<\/strong> in the College Promotional Video category for \u201cInside Look: Farm and Environmental Education Center\u201d video, which promoted that unique APSU facility.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bronze<\/strong> in the College Promotional Video category for the APSU \u201cInside Look: University Recreation\u201d video, which promoted APSU\u2019s University Recreation department.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bronze<\/strong> in the Overall Promotional Campaign category for \u201cAP Day,\u201d an event that brings prospective students to campus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The APSU #PeayPix Social Media Campaign was also a finalist in the conferences Best of Show category.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Clarksville, TN &#8211; The Office of Public Relations and Marketing at Austin Peay State University won eight awards during the Tennessee College Public Relations Association spring conference and awards contest held June 12th-13th at Lipscomb University in Nashville.
