\"ClarksvilleClarksville, TN<\/strong> – Registration is underway for the Clarksville Parks and Recreation\u2019s Youth Recreation Leagues.<\/p>\n

Participants can register through March 28th online at recpro.cityofclarksville.com, as well as at any of our community centers and the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Main Office.<\/p>\n

\"2014<\/a>The baseball, softball and t-ball leagues are open to youth ages 3 to 14. Birth certificates are required at registration to verify the child\u2019s age. All games are played at Heritage Park Baseball Fields.<\/p>\n

Parks and Recreation also offers Blastball!\u00ae for ages 3 to 4-years-old. Blastball!\u00ae is a fun alternative to traditional t-ball and uses a \u201chonking\u201d base to entertain younger players, bringing excitement to learning the fundamentals. This league concentrates on developing a child\u2019s running, hitting, catching, fielding and throwing skills.<\/p>\n

The cost to play in any of the Youth Recreation Leagues is $40.00 per child and includes a team shirt, hat and medal. Opening Ceremonies and Picture Day will be held June 7th at the Heritage Park Complex located at 1241 Peachers Mill Road. Games begin June 9th.<\/p>\n

Teams practice once a week until the season begins, at which time, teams will have one practice a week and one game a week.<\/p>\n

These leagues rely on the generosity of the parents and volunteers to provide coaching support. There is no experience required. Please show your support by volunteering to coach. Coach training will be provided April 7th, 8th and 10th. Please contact Tina Boysha to volunteer.<\/p>\n
