\"ClarksvilleClarksville, TN<\/strong> – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department kicked off the Walk with me Tennessee program at the Clarksville Greenway on Tuesday with a group walk with the Mayor!<\/p>\n

The Walk with Me Tennessee walking program challenges Clarksvillians to walk across the state using a series of challenges featuring trails in Clarksville as well as \u201cvirtual trails\u201d in other Walk with Me Tennessee pilot communities such as Athens and Sevierville.<\/p>\n

Clarksville Parks and Recreation\u2019s Walk with Me Tennessee Program<\/p><\/div>\n

The program currently boasts 63 registrants so far, but it is not too late to join in! Participants can begin completing challenges listed on the Health Walkers website, after they have created a free account on www.healthwalkers.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The first participant to report completion of each challenge during the designated challenge period will receive a Walk with Me Tennessee prize pack. For each challenge completed, participant\u2019s names will be entered into a drawing for a grand prize at the end of the 12-week session.<\/p>\n

The more challenges completed, the more chances to win! The first participant to report completion of each challenge during the designated challenge period will also receive a Walk with Me Tennessee prize pack. To be eligible for prize winning, participants must track their progress through www.healthwalkers.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

All participants in the Walk with Me Tennessee program will receive one free year\u2019s use of the Health Walkers website and an easy way to track your walking progress and stay motivated!<\/p>\n

The first session of Walk with Me Tennessee will run through December 17th and the second will be from March 11th, 2014 through May 2nd, 2014.<\/p>\n
