Tina Brown and Backroad Brigade will take to the Miller Light Stage on Friday night, followed by the ultimate Lynard Skynard tribute band, Skynard Lynard.<\/p>\n<p>The entertainment continues when gates open at 10:00am on Saturday. The Miller Lite stage will feature LoveSkrub, Chris Monhollen, Harrison Anvil, and Nicole Johnson. On the Gateway Realty stage, watch as local dance academies strut their stuff followed by a step demonstration and performances by artists Clint Fisher, Mira, Steven Hawkins, Skylar Cain and Johnny T.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_184313\" style=\"width: 240px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Phil-Vassar.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-184313\" class=\" wp-image-184313  \" title=\"Country recording artist Phil Vassar to headline Clarksville' Riverfest Saturday, September 7th.\" alt=\"Country recording artist Phil Vassar to headline Clarksville' Riverfest Saturday, September 7th.\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Phil-Vassar-480x319.jpg\" width=\"230\" height=\"153\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-184313\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Country recording artist Phil Vassar to headline Clarksville&#8217; Riverfest Saturday, September 7th.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Saturday evening, the Miller Lite stage will light up the Riverwalk with the Country Star Competition, Lyndsey Highlander, and country music artist, Phil Vassar.<\/p>\n<p>While this year\u2019s entertainment lineup is filled with great performers, Riverfest has tons of other exciting activities too.<\/p>\n<p>The Adventure Zone and Toddler Town will once again take place in the North Extension of the Riverwalk allowing for a larger area. The Adventure Zone will feature inflatables, a rock climbing wall, train and pony rides and much more. While some of the features are free, armbands are required for most and others require tickets. Armbands cost $10.00 and are good for both days. Please keep armbands when returning for second day. Tickets can be purchased for $1.00 per ticket.<\/p>\n<p>Toddler Town is a free covered area for children ages five and under. This area features smaller inflatables, pre-school activities, private diaper changing station, stroller parking and plenty of seating for parents.<\/p>\n<p>[320right]While enjoying Riverfest, be sure to stop at the River of Culture Stage for a captivating showcase of dances and traditions from various cultures from all around the world. Hula dancing, ballet and martial arts are just some of the things you will find on the River of Culture stage.<\/p>\n<p>The curators and gallery directors for the Riverfest Fine Arts Exhibits invite you to a free \u201cneighborhood\u201d gallery tour to include exhibition receptions and refreshments.<\/p>\n<p>Art enthusiasts can find exciting treasures made by local artists exhibiting in three art shows in Downtown Clarksville:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, September 5th<\/strong><br \/>\nSenior Citizen Exhibit at the Downtown Artists Co-Op from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, September 6th<\/strong><br \/>\nHigh School Exhibit at the Customs House Museum from 5:00pm to 6:00pm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, September 6th<\/strong><br \/>\nAmateur &amp; Professional Exhibits at the Smith Trahern Mansion from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.<\/p>\n<p>Join us as we kick off Riverfest Regatta\u2019s, 7th year, sponsored by US Bank, Saturday morning at 10:00amat the courtesy boat dock. Watch as groups attempt to paddle their cardboard or plastic bottle boats to the finish line on the Cumberland River.
