There are some amazing developments focused on both a cure and treatment.<\/p>\n<p>My 5 year old son, Garrett, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when he was 21 months old. Earlier this year Garrett began using an insulin pump that replaces the need for multiple shots each day. The insulin pump was developed as a direct result of support for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) and the technology helps regulate his blood glucose level.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"CC13 Delegate Garrett TN\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9VY6Q_2t9wg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><!--more-->I am asking for your support.
