\"TiltedClarksville, TN<\/strong> – Rock blues artists Year Of October will perform live at The Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery on Thursday, July 11th, 2013 at 8:00pm.<\/p>\n

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Year of October was founded in 2010 while members Phlecia and Josh were attending the University of Kentucky. Year of October started as an acoustic singer\/songwriter group and soon made the transition to a full band.<\/p>\n

They return to their acoustic roots in this exclusive Clarksville appearance, with husband and wife duo Josh and Phlecia Sullivan playing a diverse mix to include a strong collection of originals as well as covers of artists such as Bill Withers, The Beatles, Cat Stevens, Feist, Adele and more.<\/p>\n

As singer\/songwriters, their dedication and love for the craft shines through in their first album, \u201cStories\u201d, released in early 2012. Their sophomore album is currently in the early stages of recording.<\/p>\n

With influences from The Black Keys and Led Zeppelin to Norah Jones, they are led by bluesy vocals, strong lyrics, and roaring guitars that create a sound reminiscent of the 70s but making it all new.<\/p>\n

Between their songs\u2019 dynamics, Josh Sullivan\u2019s guitar skills and singer Phlecia Sullivan\u2019s towering vocals, they put on a captivating live show.<\/p>\n

Year of October performs at 8:00pm on Thursday, July 11th at The Tilted Kilt, 2790B Wilma Rudolph Boulevard in Clarksville.<\/p>\n
