Vibrant colors jump from the frames of Mikki Dillon\u2019s pastels, now on view in the museum\u2019s Orgain Gallery.<\/p>\n

Dillon uses saturated hues to document her visions of the every day in the exhibit CapturedColor, on view through September. She has won numerous national awards and has achieved signature status in six national pastel societies; in addition, she is a Distinguished Pastellist in the Pastel Society of the West Coast.<\/p>\n

Mikki is a signature member of the Knickerbocker Artists of America and the National Association of Women Artists, Inc. and is a full member of the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club (NY).<\/p>\n

The Planters Bank Peg Harvill Gallery showcases the photography of Erin, Tennessee artist Tonya Coleman in an exhibit titled Every Day.<\/p>\n

Many of Tonya\u2019s images celebrate the daily scenes of easy summer days. She says of her work \u201cI am rarely without a camera within arm\u2019s reach, constantly observing the world around me for things that catch my eye. My photos tend to focus on the simple things in life. Old or forgotten things that brought someone joy, memories of sorrow, memories long forgotten or yet to be seen\u201d.<\/p>\n

The Heritage Hall Gallery of the museum features works by the late Peg Harvill, as well as collectibles from the past including model planes and autographed photos of political, athletic, music, and film celebrities.<\/p>\n

Continuing on view through the end of August is Mike Andrews: Carvings, Castings, and Constructions in the Crouch Gallery.<\/p>\n

Andrews has been creating art for more than two decades out of limestone, wood, and metal.<\/p>\n

More recently, he has produced large wall installations comprised of patterns belonging to the Clarksville Foundry.<\/p>\n

The Explorer\u2019s Gallery is packed with fun, learning and fantasy in Aunt Alice\u2019s Attic, McGregor\u2019s Market and kitchen, and of course \u2013 the Bubble Cave! Finally, get \u201call aboard\u201d to see our fantastic model trains. Our volunteer engineers \u201cride the rails\u201d every Sunday afternoon from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.<\/p>\n

Regular museum hours are 10:00am to 5:00pm Tuesday through Saturday, and 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Sundays. Adult admission is $7.00, Sr. Citizens and College ID $5.00, Ages 6 to 18 $3.00, and under six years and Museum members are free.<\/p>\n
