\"KiwanisClarksville, TN<\/strong> – The Downtown Kiwanis Club is hosting its annual Kiwanis Rodeo at the Montgomery County 4-H Arena Friday, May 31st and Saturday, June 1st.<\/p>\n

The gates open at 6:00pm and the Rodeo starts at 8:00pm both nights. This is a PRCA and WPRA sanctioned Rodeo.<\/p>\n

Annual Kiwanis Rodeo<\/p><\/div>\n

Tickets are $10.00 in advance and $15.00 at the door. Children under 12 are FREE on Friday night. There is free parking for all visitors.<\/p>\n

You can purchase tickets at a reduced price prior to the event at all Legends Banks, Beach Oil locations, and Woodlawn Papa Rock.<\/p>\n

Events include calf roping, steer wrestling, barrel racing, team roping, breakaway roping, saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, and bull riding and more. There are also various contests, games, and a kids zone.<\/p>\n

\"Annual<\/a>Tickets each night are $15.00 for 13 and over and $10.00 for age 4-12. Children 3 and younger get in free!<\/p>\n

The Montgomery County 4-H Arena is a brand new, covered facility located conveniently off of Rossview Road\/I-24 Exit 8 in Clarksville, TN.<\/p>\n

About the Kiwanis Club of Clarksville<\/h3>\n

\"KiwanisThe Kiwanis Club of Clarksville (or Downtown Kiwanis Club) was chartered as the 220th Kiwanis club on May 18th, 1920. They are one of the oldest and largest active Kiwanis clubs in the country.<\/p>\n

The Kiwanis Auction raises thousands of dollars annually that help to defer costs for their programs for children. Among these programs are\u2026<\/p>\n

Annual Children\u2019s Christmas Party<\/strong> \u2013 They give hundreds of local HeadStart children in Montgomery County toys, clothing and books each Christmas.<\/p>\n

Reading is Fundamental (RIF)<\/strong> \u2013 They distribute three books per year to third graders in Montgomery County and help to teach them a love for reading.<\/p>\n

Memories of Service and Sacrifice<\/strong> \u2013 They hold an annual \u201cInterview a Veteran\u201d contest which asks local students to speak with area veterans about their experiences in the military.<\/p>\n
