The Queen City Road Race is not just a running competition; it is a promotion for fitness and health in the Clarksville community.<\/p>\n<p>Race Day will begin at 8:00am at Austin Peay State University&#8217;s Governors Stadium. This year&#8217;s race includes the 5K race, 5K relay race, non-competitive One Mile Movement, and new 7K race!<\/p>\n<p>Registration for the 5K, 7K and One Mile Movement is available through Race Day at <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cityofclarksville.com\/qcrr.\" >www.cityofclarksville.com\/qcrr.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Front Entrance Renovations<\/h3>\n<p>Please pardon our construction as we are renovating our front counter area. All patrons are asked to please use the 102 Public Square entrance.<\/p>\n<h3>Summer Pool Passes<\/h3>\n<p>Did you know that pool passes are on sale year round? If you\u2019re preparing for your summer pool visits, don\u2019t forget your pool pass!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Want to save some time in line? Here are tips to cut your wait time.<\/li>\n<li>Create or update your family\u2019s account online at <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/RecPro.CityofClarksville.com\" >http:\/\/RecPro.CityofClarksville.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Email a photo of each family member on your pool pass (with their names) to <a href=\"mailto:ParksRec@cityofclarksville.com\">ParksRec@cityofclarksville.com<\/a>. We can add them to your account before you arrive.<\/li>\n<li>Bring your completed form with you. A printable registration form is available at <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/RecPro.CityofClarksville.com\" >http:\/\/RecPro.CityofClarksville.com<\/a> under the \u201cLinks\u201d section.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Liberty Park Restroom Repair<\/h3>\n<p>The restrooms at the King\u2019s Run Bark Park at Liberty Park will be temporarily closed due to mechanical repair. The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department hopes to reopen the restrooms by Monday, April 29th.<\/p>\n<h3>50 Plus Olympics Early Bird Deadline Approaches<\/h3>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/2013-Clarksville-50+-Olympics-banner.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-169328 alignright\" title=\"2013 Clarksville 50+ Olympics\" alt=\"2013 Clarksville 50+ Olympics\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/2013-Clarksville-50+-Olympics-banner-200x150.jpg\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Be sure and register for the 2013 50 Plus Olympics! The Early Bird registration deadline is April 29th. After April 29th, registration goes from $20.00 to $25.00 for each participant and includes t-shirt, goody bag and one closing dinner ticket. Additional dinner tickets are available for purchase.<\/p>\n<p>This event is open to those at least 50-years-old and will take place at various locations in Clarksville. You don\u2019t have to be a pro to compete! Competitors can enjoy golf, bowling, table tennis, pickleball, basketball, badminton, horseshoes, shuffleboard, swimming events, track &amp; field events, disc golf, cornhole, lawn darts and ladderball. Competitors can also enjoy a delicious and fun meal at the closing dinner!<\/p>\n<h3>Hershey Track &amp; Field<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-22364\" title=\"Hershey Track and Field\" alt=\"Hershey Track and Field\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/hersheytrackandfield-200x108.jpg\" width=\"200\" height=\"108\" \/>Hershey Track &amp; Field practices are underway every Thursday from 4:30pm to 5:30pm at the Burt-Cobb Community Center, located at 1101 Franklin Street. Practices will be held through May 16th. The local competition will be held at 9:00am May 18th at the Rossview High School Track.<\/p>\n<p>Athletes placing first in the local competition advance to the district competition and compete for a place in the statewide competition.
