Kids can jump on inflatables, play games, have their faces painted and more! The picnic is free with a valid Military ID.<\/p>\n<h3>Civil War Photography Exhibit<\/h3>\n<p>The Fort Defiance Interpretive Center will host a photography exhibit Saturday, April 27th from 10:00am to 5:00pm.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibit will include a collection of photographs dating between the 1840\u2019s and 1860\u2019s, with an emphasis on photography during the American Civil War.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors will be able to observe how a mobile photography studio would have looked and operated during that time period and purchase their own image preserved on steel or glass.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, visitors can tour the permanent exhibit which includes the 18-minute film, \u201cCrossroads of Change 1861-1865\u201d.<\/p>\n<h3>Cumberland Arts Experience<\/h3>\n<p>Cumberland Arts Experience will be held Saturday, April 27th, at the Kleeman Community Center located at 166 Cunningham Lane, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.<\/p>\n<p>Learn basic painting skills as you paint along with an instructor to create a piece of art you can take home with you. Each month features a different painting, all inspired by things and places in the Cumberland region, so the classes will never be the same!<\/p>\n<p>Cost to participate is $35.00 per class and includes supplies such as paint and canvas. This month\u2019s painting will be \u201cFloating Down the Cumberland.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pre-registration is required and available online at recpro.cityofclarksville.com. If you can\u2019t make the April class, sessions will be held May 25th, June 22nd and July 27th.<\/p>\n<h3>50 Plus Olympics<\/h3>\n<p>Registration is underway for the 50 Plus Olympics! This event is open to those at least 50-years-old and will take place at various locations in Clarksville. You don\u2019t have to be a pro to compete!<\/p>\n<p>Competitors can enjoy golf, bowling, table tennis, pickleball, basketball, badminton, horseshoes, shuffleboard, swimming events, track &amp; field events, disc golf, cornhole, lawn darts and ladderball. Competitors can also enjoy a delicious and fun meal at the closing dinner!<\/p>\n<h3>Summer Pool Passes<\/h3>\n<p>Did you know that pool passes are on sale year round? If you\u2019re preparing for your summer pool visits, don\u2019t forget your pool pass!<\/p>\n<p>Want to save some time in line?
