The exhibits will be on display Thursday, February 7th-Wednesday, March 6th at 1971 Madison Street during regular bank hours.<\/p>\n<p>Meyer began her art studies in 1972 at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. With a husband in the U.S. Air Force, Meyer\u2019s ability to study art was tabled by military moves, family life and motherhood.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_161943\" style=\"width: 490px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-161943\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-161943\" alt=\"Painter Gail Meyer\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Gail-Meyer-Banner-480x360.jpg\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-161943\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Painter Gail Meyer<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!--more-->She resumed classes at Miami Dade College when her husband was stationed at Homestead Air Force Base.<\/p>\n<p>Meyer enjoys using color, texture and layering to achieve style, creativity and innovation. She is currently working on a project to capture quaint store fronts in downtown Clarksville. Meyer\u2019s work can currently be seen at the Downtown Artist Cooperative and Hopkinsville Art Guild, as well as online at <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gailmeyer.artspan.com\" >www.gailmeyer.artspan.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Meyer\u2019s exhibit at Planters Bank, Cityscapes &amp; More, includes acrylic and watercolor mixed media.<\/p>\n<p>Tony Centonze is a free-lance photographer for The Leaf-Chronicle.<\/p>\n<p>The Planters-Hilldale branch is located at 1971 Madison Street.
