Again and again research points to the importance of nonprofits, government agencies and faith-based organizations collaborating and partnering together.<\/p>\n<p>These kinds of relationships impact the effectiveness and efficiency of individual organizations and the communities they serve. To help shed some light on collaborative partnerships and the mechanisms for designing comprehensive collaborative strategies, the Clarksville-Montgomery County Nonprofit Partnership will host \u201dBuilding Collaborative Partnerships.\u201d<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The FREE 2-hour learning session presented by Dr. Victoria McCarthy, Associate Professor for Professional Studies at Austin Peay State University will be held on July 18th, 2012 from 2:00pm-4:00pm at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Library in the large meeting room.<\/p>\n<p>The interactive session will explore the multiple dimensions of building collaboration among nonprofits and other community stakeholders. Community partnerships give communities a structure for organizing, planning and implementing their ideas. These kinds of strategies help strengthen communities.<\/p>\n<p>Current economic conditions mean greater needs for organizations, government and faith organizations so the need for partnerships and collaboration is more important now than ever before.
