The market will feature fresh, locally grown produce, nursery stock, handmade craft items, and other seasonal commodities. You can also find baked goods, home d\u00e9cor, seasonal flowers and more!<\/p>\n<p>After visiting, be sure to go to <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.farmland.org\/vote\" >www.farmland.org\/vote<\/a> to cast your vote to select Clarksville\u2019s Downtown Market- \u201cAmerica\u2019s Favorite Farmers Markets\u201d.<\/p>\n<h3>Acoustic Night at Jammin\u2019 in the Alley<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" title=\"Jammin in the Alley\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/jammin-in-the-alley-2012-200x189.jpg\" alt=\"Jammin in the Alley\" width=\"160\" height=\"151\" \/>The City of Clarksville and U.S. Bank will soon be jammin\u2019 once again, Friday, July 20th in downtown Clarksville\u2019s Strawberry Alley. This month\u2019s free concert will feature a medley of acoustic artists to include Michael Jacobs, Lydia Walker, Rebecca Forehand, Freight Train, and Dustin Overbeek.<\/p>\n<p>Free concerts take place every third Friday of the month thru October and begin at 7:00pm. In addition to the live music and market vendors, downtown restaurants will offer outdoor dining for Jammin\u2019 in the Alley and night market patrons. Come ready to eat, dance and shop! Come early to save your spot and check out \u201cmove before the movies\u201d which will feature a walk in the park and Tae Kwon Do.<\/p>\n<p>Admission to the movie is free. Final fees are due by August 3rd.<\/p>\n<p>Coach\u2019s packets will be available to pick up at the Parks and Recreation main office, August 14th. League play begins August 19th.<\/p>\n<h3>Free Zumba<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" title=\"Zumba\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/zumba-129x200.jpg\" alt=\"Zumba\" width=\"90\" height=\"140\" \/>Burt-Cobb Community Center is offering free Zumba classes for the entire month of August! This popular program combines music and dance in an effort to make exercise fun! Classes begin August 2nd and are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30pm-6:30pm.<\/p>\n<p>Beginning in September, the cost will be $3.00 per class.<\/p>\n<h3>Pooch Pool Party<\/h3>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Pooch-Pool-Party.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-128288\" title=\"Pooch Pool Party\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Pooch-Pool-Party-200x133.jpg\" alt=\"Pooch Pool Party\" width=\"200\" height=\"133\" \/><\/a>Patrons and their pups are invited to join the party, Saturday, August 11th, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Swan Lake Sports Complex Pool, located at 2002 Sanders Road. Dogs will be able to take a dip in the pool and their owners can visit with dog-related businesses and organizations from around town, play games, and register for a chance to win prizes!<\/p>\n<p>All dogs must be at least 6 months old and have proof of current vaccinations. Ramps will be available to provide easy access to the pool for the dogs. Cost for Pool Pooch Party is $3.00 per dog.
