Activities begin at 6:00pm.<!--more-->Local performers Tina Brown will provide live music throughout the evening, followed by Mike Bryant and fireworks for the Grand Finale! In addition to musical entertainment, vendors will offer a variety of favorite foods, including kettle corn, hotdogs, smoothies, homemade ice cream, cheesecake on a stick, shaved ice, schnitzel and more.<\/p>\n<p>Guests are encouraged to park at Austin Peay State University Dunn Center parking lot. Clarksville Transit System will provide free rides to and from the designated parking area from 5:30pm to 10:15pm. Buses will load passengers along Marion Street adjacent to the Dunn Center parking lot and drop off at the entrance to the boat ramp at McGregor Park. The last bus will depart from McGregor Park promptly at 10:15pm.<\/p>\n<h4>We ask that all attendees abide by some event rules at the Independence Day Celebration:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>No roaming solicitation.<\/li>\n<li>No weapons.<\/li>\n<li>No pets allowed during event.<\/li>\n<li>No drugs or alcoholic beverages allowed.<\/li>\n<li>No fighting or foul language allowed.<\/li>\n<li>No personal fireworks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This year\u2019s event is presented by The City of Clarksville and Aetna Insurance.
