\"2012Clarksville, TN<\/strong> – The City of Clarksville\u2019s Parks and Recreation department is excited to announce The Rooted Wings to play at the next Jammin\u2019 in the Alley concert June 15th.<\/p>\n

The annual summer concert series, presented by U.S. Bank, is now in its 5th season and will feature a variety of local talent. In addition to the live music, downtown restaurants will offer outdoor dining for concert-goers.<\/p>\n

The Rooted Wings to play at the next Jammin' in the Alley<\/p><\/div>\n

The City of Clarksville together with U.S. Bank will be Jammin\u2019 in Strawberry Alley again on Friday, June 15th, 2012. Join us for this month\u2019s free concert and to enjoy the first \u201cNight Market\u201d of the season, featuring more than a dozen vendors from Clarksville\u2019s weekly Downtown Market. Vendors will be set up from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, and the concert will begin at 7:00pm.<\/p>\n

This month\u2019s concert features the acoustic based duet, The Rooted Wings. After a few open mic night collaborations, Samantha Hawkins and John Winters knew they wanted to form a cohesive act together and have combined styles to include blues, fold, and jazz into a fresh and rhythmic sound.<\/p>\n

In addition to the live music and market vendors, downtown restaurants will offer outdoor dining for Jammin\u2019 in the Alley patrons. Come ready to eat, dance and shop!<\/p>\n

Strawberry Alley will be closed to through traffic starting at 1:00pm on Friday. Starting at 3:00pm, the lower employee parking lot of City Hall will be closed. However, drive-throughs for U.S. Bank and Regions Bank will be accessible, as well as the upper City Hall parking lot.<\/p>\n
