Young athletes can compete in the local competition, held May 12th at 9:00am at Rossview High School Track.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, please call the Burt-Cobb Community Center at 931.552.1263.<\/p>\n<h3>Spend an afternoon with Abraham Lincoln<\/h3>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Fort-Defiance-Civil-War-Park.jpg\"  class=\"thickbox no_icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-104620\" title=\"Fort Defiance Civil War Park &amp; Interpretive Center\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Fort-Defiance-Civil-War-Park-200x133.jpg\" alt=\"Fort Defiance Civil War Park &amp; Interpretive Center\" width=\"200\" height=\"133\" \/><\/a>A meet and greet with an Abraham Lincoln impersonator is planned for 2:00pm Saturday, May 12th, 2012, at the Fort Defiance Interpretive Center, located at 120 Duncan Street.<\/p>\n<p>The event will feature Mr. Whit McMahan as President Abraham Lincoln, and will include a brief speech. Visitors to the event are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs.<\/p>\n<h3>Jammin\u2019 in the Alley<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-120078\" title=\"2012 Jammin' in the Alley\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarksvilleonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/2012-Jammin-in-the-Alley.gif\" alt=\"2012 Jammin' in the Alley\" width=\"170\" height=\"163\" \/>The City of Clarksville and U.S. Bank will kick off the free concert series with Mike Bryant, Friday, May 18th in downtown Clarksville\u2019s Strawberry Alley. Free concerts begin at 7:00pm and take place every third Friday of the month thru October.<\/p>\n<p>Come ready to eat, dance and have fun!
