Clarksville, TN – Is your child interested in playing basketball this winter? Clarksville Parks and Recreation is proud to offer a Youth Basketball League for boys and girls ages 7 to 15.
The cost is $65.00 per player. Each player will receive a jersey, water bottle and award.
[1]Registration for the league begins September 8th and continues through October 5th. Registration is available online at recpro.cityofclarksville.com.
Registration is also available at the Kleeman, Crow and Burt Cobb Community Centers, as well as at the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Main Office located at 104 Public Square. The Main Office is open from 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Registrants must bring their birth certificate for age verification if they are registering for this program for the first time.
Practices will be held at local school gymnasiums beginning November 2nd and games will be held each Saturday, beginning December 5th, at the City’s three community centers. Parents should be contacted by their coach prior to the start of games to let them know where and when their child will practice.
If you’re also interested in a leadership role on the court, Clarksville Parks and Recreation is seeking Youth League coaches. Clarksville Parks and Recreation will offer coaches’ training on October 13th and 15th at 6:00pm at Freedom Point at Liberty Park. All interested coaches may contact Athletic Coordinator, Albert Casillas, at the Clarskville Parks and Recreation Main Office.
