Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department announces Sports Tournaments to be part of this years Mayor’s Summer Night Lights

The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting free 5-on-5 basketball and 7-on-7 flag football tournaments as a part of the Mayor’s Summer Night Lights program!

Both sports tournaments are open to ages 11-14, 15-17, and 18 and up. Anyone wishing to participate in these tournaments must be at the location no later than 5:45pm to sign up. Free food and drinks will be provided!

Basketball tournaments will be held at Bel-Aire Park, Summit Heights and the Kleeman Community Center beginning June 24th. Each team must have five players to play.

The schedule of basketball games is as follows:

Flag football tournaments will be held at Pettus Park beginning June 26. Each team must have seven players to play.

Flag football will take place on the following nights:

Mayor’s Summer Night Lights also features a multitude of activities including a DJ, dodge ball, performances by local music artists, motivational speakers, karaoke, Car Club demos, street hockey and so much more! There is also a nightly meal provided, free of charge, by Manna Café.

Summer Night Lights runs weekly, through August 7th.
