Planters Bank Hilldale Gallery to feature Watercolors by Artist Frank Lott in July

Clarksville, TN – Artist Frank Lott will show an exhibit of watercolors at the Planters Bank-Hilldale Gallery on Thursday, July 3rd – Wednesday, August 6th. Both original watercolors and prints will be on display. Framed and unframed prints will be available for sale.
Lott has been a Clarksville resident since 1973 after graduation from Murray State University. In 1978 he and partner Jeff Bibb founded BLF Marketing, a company that provides marketing, advertising and public relations services to clients throughout the Southeast.
First Thursday Artwalk to be held April 3rd

“Fail Forward” art exhibit now open at APSU

Clarksville, TN – For years, visitors to Austin Peay State University’s Wilbur N. Daniel African-American Cultural Center have admired the art gallery set up in the front lobby. Particularly, they’ve commented on the colorful, abstract paintings by alumna Miesha Arnold.
The artist generously donated her work to the University, and this month, the Center is hosting an exhibition of her watercolors, titled “Fail Forward.”

Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University Community School for the Arts is gearing up for another busy semester of classes this spring, and area adults and children interested in pursuing their creative interests are encouraged to register beginning December 3rd.

Planters Bank ‘First Thursday’ Exhibit Features Clarksville Photo Club

Clarksville, TN – The Planters Bank “First Thursday” Art Exhibit at the bank’s Hilldale branch will feature the Clarksville Friends of Photography during October. Approximately 20 photos will be on display from members of the club. All pieces are available for sale.
The exhibit will be open to the public from Thursday, October 4th through Wednesday, October 31st during regular bank hours (8:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Thursday and 8:30am-5:30pm, Friday.) The bank’s Hilldale branch is located at 1971 Madison Street.
Upcoming exhibits include watercolors by Judy Morgan in November and photography by David Smith in December.
