APSU Associate Professor of music Dr. Emily Hanna Crane performs on major motion pictures, television shows, video game over summer

Clarksville, TN – Whether it was on the big or small screen, there’s a good chance you heard how Austin Peay State University Associate Professor of music, violin and viola Dr. Emily Hanna Crane spent her summer vacation.
That’s because the Department of Music’s coordinator of orchestral strings participated in a series of recording sessions at Nashville Music Scoring in Nashville, performing on scores for numerous major motion pictures, television shows and video games.
Enrollment is open for Austin Peay State University’s EDGE Summer Video Game Development Camp

Clarksville, TN – This summer, area high school students can learn the skills needed to create their own video game as Austin Peay State University’s Department of Computer Science and Information Technology presents EDGE, the Educating Developing Games Experience summer camp.
The EDGE camp will be offered in two sessions, with the first session lasting from July 10th-14th and the second session taking place July 24th-28th. Each session lasts from 9:30am-3:30pm and all sessions take place at the Maynard Mathematics and Computer Science Building on the University campus.

The car show is Friday night and the BBQ Cook Off will be on Saturday.
Clarksville Parks and Recreation and Game Stop Team Up for Teen Takeover

Teen Takeover will feature a video gaming area hosted by Game Stop, DJ entertainment, giveaways, food, indoor inflatables, and plenty of room to relax and hang out with friends.

Clarksville, TN – Victor Rodriguez, graduating senior in the APSU Department of Art, will be exhibiting chapter one of his graphic novel inspired by comic books from Pop Culture for his BFA Degree Thesis Show.
