Clarksville, TN – It’s hard to believe that another year has gone by and the biggest event of the season is only one short week away.
Next week, starting on Thursday, April 24th, Rivers and Spires will kick off the three-day festival with Throwback Thursday. An evening full of 80’s music, food and of course, Coors Light, Throwback Thursday will bring a total 80’s experience to Clarksville’s Public Square.
Clarksville Young Professionals announces US Bank winner of Give A Kick Kickball Tournament

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Young Professionals (CYP) are pleased to announce US Bank as the winners of the fourth annual Give A Kick Kickball Tournament.
Held on Saturday, September 14th at the Swan Lake Sports Complex, the tournament had a great turnout of young professionals all ready to compete for a good cause.

Clarksville, TN – Join the City of Clarksville and Bud Light along the banks of the Cumberland River as they celebrate Clarksville’s river heritage at the 24th annual Riverfest Celebration, September 9th and 10th, 2011. This free, two day music and arts festival features four stages of a variety of local, regional and nationally-known entertainers, delicious food, and fun for the entire family.
The music kicks off at 5:00pm, Friday, with a great lineup of Christian performers on the Mary’s the Music Store Stage to include Britt Nicole who will perform at 9:00pm. Ekoh, Black Market Research and UZoo – The Authentic U2 Tribute Band Experience will take to the Bud Light Stage on Friday night, followed by the ultimate Journey tribute band, Chain Reaction.
US Bank and APSU Art Department Host Exhibit Open to All Local Artists

Clarksville, TN – All artists over the age of 18 and living in Montgomery County will get the opportunity next month to exhibit and sell their work publicly, all while helping to raise money for college art scholarships.
That’s because US Bank and the Austin Peay State University Department of Art are hosting the 2011 Open Exhibition at the APSU Downtown Gallery from April 7th – 29th. The show, which has a $10.00 entry fee, is open to all local artists. All entries must be delivered to the gallery at 116 Strawberry Alley by 4:00pm, Saturday, April 2nd. [Read more]

Franchise seminar offered at APSU

The Austin Peay State University Center for Extended and Distance Education and The Franchise Connection (FranNet) present a seminar on franchise ownership led by Dan Aronoff. The seminar takes place at 9 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 17 at US Bank, 1816 Madison St. in Clarksville.
This event will address the following topics: business ownership, determining if franchise ownership is the right career path for you, the types of franchise opportunities available, how to correctly select and research franchise opportunities and how to recognize and avoid the pitfalls that can lead to failure in franchise ownership.
