Clarksville, TN – City of Clarksville employees competed Tuesday in the 2nd Annual United Way Field Day event to kick-off the annual workplace giving campaign.
Twelve six-member teams from across the City of Clarksville gathered at the Wilma Rudolph Events Center compete in nine “minute-to-win-it” games, including Ping Pong Shake, Elephant March and Balloon Pop. Team names were equally creative, including Blue Light Special, Killa Watts, Perfectly Balanced and Codes Crusaders.

United Way of Greater Clarksville’s Day of Action Unites Individuals to Empower Our Community
Clarksville, TN – United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region is uniting volunteers and rallying service teams throughout the community for its Day of Action on June 21st, 2018.
United Way’s Day of Action is an annual volunteer event that mobilizes the caring power of volunteers to make a meaningful impact in the local area. Over 200 volunteers of all ages are needed to lend their time and talents to create positive change for the Clarksville community.

On Saturday, February 17th, 2018 at 7:00pm, Austin Peay State University will host Montgomery County and CMCSS United for United Way Night during the APSU Men’s Basketball game vs. Jacksonville State.

The project is a partnership between the City of Clarksville and the United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region.

Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan, United Way to dedicate trail June 21st
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan will help celebrate United Way Worldwide’s Day of Action at Liberty Park with the grand opening of the Born Learning Trail, an interactive set of activities for young children and their caregivers.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be at 2:00pm June 21st, 2017. Prior to the ceremony, from 8:00am to noon, 35 local United Way volunteers will help install the trail at Liberty Park.
Clarksville Police and Parks and Recreation strive to “Bridge the Gap” with Summer Night Lights program

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation is joining forces with the Clarksville Police Department to bring forth “Bridging the Gap” as a part of the Mayor’s Summer Night Lights program on Wednesday, June 22nd at the Kleeman Recreation Center.
The event will take place from 5:30pm to 9:00pm.
