Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department to hold final Movies in the Park for 2020 on October 24th

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, October 24th, 2020, the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department’s Movies in the Park presented by Kyrstin Frate with Keller Williams will take place for the final time of 2020 at Liberty Park Athletic Field.
Disney’s 2019 release “The Lion King” will be the movie, and activities will begin at 4:00pm, followed by the movie at sunset, which is around 6:15pm.

Heritage Park will host free movie screening, vendors and fun
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Movies in the Park, Clarksville’s free, outdoor movie series will celebrate its 13th season as it kicks off on Saturday, May 26th, 2018 with the showing of “Wonder Woman” at Heritage Park, 1241 Peachers Mill Road.
Pre-show activities, coordinated by the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department, will begin at 6:30pm.
Planters Bank Presents… Film Series at Roxy Regional Theatre kicks off March with Disney’s “The Lion King”

Clarksville, TN – March comes “in like a lion” on the corner of Franklin and First in Historic Downtown Clarksville — “The Lion King”, that is — when the Planters Bank Presents… Film Series at the Roxy Regional Theatre returns on Sunday, March 4th, at 2:00pm, with Disney’s award-winning animated masterpiece.
Tickets will be available at the Roxy Regional Theatre during regular box office hours, beginning February 26th.
Austin Peay Department of Theatre and Dance to put on new show “Broadway on the Cumberland” November 20th-23rd

Clarksville, TN – Next fall, the Austin Peay State University Department of Theatre and Dance will offer a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in musical theatre. That means some of the glamour and energy of the big New York shows will begin trickling into the University’s Trahern Theater.
Later this month, the department will offer a sneak peak of that program with its new show, “Broadway on the Cumberland.”
