Noted Artist Anton Weiss Exhibiting at the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center

Clarksville, TN – The Crouch Gallery of the Customs House Museum celebrates the career of Anton Weiss. The works on display in the exhibition Anton Weiss: Reaching for Infinity represent the creativity of the artist from the 1970s to 2016, in both 2D and 3D pieces.
Visitors are greeted upon entry to the show with Pangea Column. A tall work of art comprised of copper, aluminum, and bronze, it acts almost as an exhibition guard, full of Weiss’ signature earthy hues.

Downtown Artists Co-op to exhibit “Wanderings” by Leah Foote and Connie Livingston-Dunn in May

Clarksville, TN – Downtown Artists Co-op (DAC) is proud to announce ‘Wanderings’, an exhibit by member artists Leah Foote and Connie Livingston-Dunn. Glenda Rohner will also exhibit an installation art piece named “influence” in DAC’s window galleries this month.
The opening reception will be on Thursday, May 5th from 5:00pm till 8:00pm. “Wanderings” and “influence” will be on display through May 28th.
Leah and Connie titled their show Wanderings because that word fits so perfectly with their styles of art. Both find that, similar to the exploration of new locales and settings, their journeys in art are explorations of new subjects and techniques.
Watercolorist Patsy Sharpe to Show Work at Planters Bank in August

Clarksville, TN – The Planters Bank-Hilldale Gallery will feature an exhibit titled “The Still Life” by Clarksville Artist Patsy Sharpe from Thursday, August 6th – Wednesday, September 30th.
Sharpe is an established painter, a Signature Tennessee Watercolor Society member, and member of many art organizations such as The Miniature Art Society of Florida, the Southern Watercolor Society, the Chestnut Group and the 2RiversPainters. She currently teaches art at Centerstone, as well as the occasional workshop, and heads the Region II Tennessee Watercolor Society’s Annual Exhibition in Clarksville.
Planters Bank to show Pen and Ink Drawings “Simple Tennessee Pleasures” by Janet Felts

Clarksville, TN – The Planters Bank-Hilldale Gallery will feature “Pen & Ink Drawings” showing simple pleasures in Tennessee by native Clarksvillian Janet Jones Felts from Thursday, April 2nd – Wednesday, May 6th.
Felts’ realistic reflections on life are revealed in the exhibit’s 12 black and white drawings. The display features three large drawings that reflect a youth’s investigations on the farm. Her drawings invite you to rediscover wooden scenes and country roads, along with other forgotten adventures.
