Clarksville, TN – On Tuesday, December 13th Edward’s Steakhouse will hold a special Christmas program as part of their continuing series of “Music and Martinis”.
This special Christmas show features “The Queen City Quintet”, a group of local artists headed by Debbie Wilson of Wilson Entertainment. The special night include a special menu with ½ price appetizers, Martinis at $5.00 and ½ price select wines.

Clarksville, TN – the Roxy regional theaters currently staging their production of the Victor Hugo Classic Les Misérables. Called Epic, grand and uplifting, Les Misérables has captured the hearts of audiences around the world with its powerful affirmation of the human spirit. The Musical is running through May 10th.
Will Sevier stars as the noble Jean Valjean, who has been released after 19 years of unjust imprisonment in pre-revolutionary France, only to find nothing in store for him but mistrust and mistreatment. Breaking his parole in hopes of starting a new life, he initiates a life-long struggle for redemption during which he is relentlessly pursued by police inspector Javert (played by Donald Groves), who refuses to believe criminals can change their ways.

This spring, Boublil and Schonberg’s popular masterpiece takes the stage of the Roxy Regional Theatre, March 28th – May 10th.
A grand opening celebration with the cast on Saturday, March 29th, launches the seven-week run of “Les Miserables”. Following that evening’s 8:00pm performance, audience members will be invited onstage to socialize with the cast over champagne and hors d’oeuvres. Tickets are $50.00 (including the show).

Outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic, “9 to 5: The Musical” tells the story of three unlikely friends who, even in a man’s world, prove there’s nothing they can’t do! The musical is based on the 1980’s film, which starred Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda, and Lily Tomlin.
The musical stars Bailey Hanks as as the vivacious Doralee Rhodes; Amanda Morgan as Violet Newstead, the department supervisor; Lital Abrahams as housewife turned secretary Judy Bernly; Colin Ryan as everyone’s favorite “Sexist, Egotistical, Lying, Hypocritical Bigot” of a boss, Franklin Hart, Jr.; and Jill Twiss, as his administrative assistant and office spy Roz Keith. They are backed up by an incredible supporting cast.

Clarksville, TN – The community street fair featured 30 booths allowing local artists to showcase their talents and to sell their arts and hand-crafted items to the public. The booths featured a wide selection of photography, paintings and drawings, pottery, jewelry, glass items, and more.
The event also included a variety of entertainment and kids’ activities including the Kenwood High School Hi-Steppers, the Cumberland Winds Woodwind Quintet, the Northeast High School Exit One Show Choir, Red River Breeze, and the Loose Hinges. The evening closed out with the “9 to 5 The Musical” staring Bailey Hanks.

Roxy Regional Theatre brings William Shakespeare’s “The Winter’s Tale” to the Stage

Clarksville, TN – Last night the Roxy Regional Theatre kicked off a production of one of William Shakespeare’s classic plays The Winter’s Tale, a story of envy, revenge, love and, ultimately, redemption. This marks their 27th consecutive year producing the Bard’s classic stories.
The play was directed by John McDonald and edited by Brandon Meeks, and tells the story of the jealous King Leontes of Sicilia who nearly topples his own kingdom when he falsely accuses his queen of adultery with his childhood friend, King Polixenes of Bohemia. In his foolishness and rage, he loses his wife, his son, and his baby daughter. The cycle of life and the power of true love come alive upon the Roxy stage, as a family is reunited, both physically and spiritually, through the power of forgiveness.
