Clarksville-Montgomery County Arts and Heritage to hold Valentine’s arts event with Chocolate, Champagne, and Chamber Music February 14th

Clarksville, TN – Clarksvillians can buy Valentine’s gifts from local artists, sample champagne and heart-healthy chocolates from local caterers, and enjoy chamber music by local musicians at the seventh annual Valentine’s Day Afternoon with the Arts, Sunday, February 14th, 2016.
The Clarksville/Montgomery County Arts & Heritage Development Council and F&M Bank are hosting this event from 1:00pm until 4:00pm in F&M Bank’s Franklin Room, with its spectacular views of downtown and the Cumberland River.
Nashville art exhibit showcases APSU Department of Art and Design

Clarksville, TN – This October, the L Gallery in downtown Nashville will present works by Austin Peay State University art and designfaculty and students as part of a multi-discipline exhibit, titled “The One and the Many.”
The exhibit, curated by APSU student Sara Straussberger, will open with a reception from 6:00pm-9:00pm on October 3rd at the gallery, in space 72 of The Arcade in Nashville.

Clarksville, TN – Downtown Artists Co-op (DAC) is proud to announce an exhibit of fine art by Leslie Campbell and Steven Walker. The opening reception for this extraordinary exhibit will be on May 7th from 5:00pm till 8:00pm.
Leslie Campbell grew up in Massachusetts and attended North Adams State College (hence renamed the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts). She taught Middle School Art for several years.

Clarksville, TN – Patrons of the arts at Austin Peay State University joined creators of art at a festive celebration at F&M Bank’s Franklin Room in downtown Clarksville last week.
The annual Soiree on Franklin, in its fifth year and sponsored by the Acuff Circle of Excellence board of directors, featured representations of all of APSU’s arts disciplines: music, dance and theatre, creative writing and the visual arts. This year’s theme, “Coming Home to the Arts,” was chosen to tie into the University’s Homecoming Week.
