Customs House Museum Celebrates 36th Anniversary and Joins Nationwide Program, Museums for All

Clarksville, TN – The Customs House Museum reopened to the public on June 2nd, 2020m, and in an effort to include and welcome all members of the community, the Museum has joined Museums for All, a nationwide program that supports those receiving food assistance (SNAP) benefits.
The program offers visitors reduced admission fees with a presentation of the SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card.

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Downtown Market on Public Square a community favorite and shopping destination offers a variety of events.
Coordinated by Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department, the festivities are free of charge and diverse, offering something for visitors of all ages looking to have a great time at one of Clarksville’s most treasured gathering places.
Some of the upcoming events include: Pop-Up Markets at McGregor Park, Paws for a Cause Dog Day, Market Scavenger Hunt and more.
Clarksville Downtown Market to open May 20th

Clarksville, TN – When the 2017 Clarksville Downtown Market opens on Saturday, May 20th, 2017 approximately 80 vendors will be on hand to offer fresh produce, baked goods, local honey, milk, home décor, seasonal flowers and more.
Clarksville Downtown Market will be open from 8:00am to 1:00pm on Saturdays through October 14th on Public Square.
Opening Day of the Market also will feature entertainment by Hank Baker and Hui Hawaii O Tenesi Hawaiian Civic Club; activities for children provided by this year’s Market sponsor, Season’s Market and Bump & Rump; free health screenings, courtesy of Medical Direct Care; and market tote giveaways provided by Altra Federal Credit Union.
