Clarksville, TN – Altra Federal Credit Union will host a free Teens & Money Seminar for students ages 13-17 on Saturday, April 21st from 10:00am-12:00pm at their branch located at 1600 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN.
“This is a great session for teens to attend to learn valuable financial skills and hands on concepts to help shape their future,” said Danielle Anderson, Youth Program Supervisor for Altra Federal Credit Union.

Clarksville, TN – Dr. Gregg Steinberg is offering a seminar titled, “Writing a Book Proposal That Sells.” The seminar will be held from 3:00pm-4:00pm Thursday, February 26th in the Morgan University Center, room 303, on the campus of Austin Peay State University. The seminar is free and open to the public.

Clarksville Mayor McMillan to attend Institute of Politics Program

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan will attend a program presented by Harvard University’s Institute of Politics. The seminar, which is offered by invitation only, focuses on training newly elected mayors and takes place every two years. All expenses for the seminar are paid by the Institute.

APSU Health Professor, noted Book Author to lead free Workshop on How to Get Published

Clarksville, TN – Dr. Gregg Steinberg, professor of health and human performance at Austin Peay State University, will conduct a free seminar on writing a book proposal that sells.
The seminar will be from 4:00pm-5:00pm, Wednesday, October 26th in the Morgan University Center, Room 306. The event is open to the public.
Steinberg has sold three books to major publishing houses. He is the author of “Full Throttle: 122 Strategies to Supercharge Your Performance at Work,” “Mental Rules for Golf” and “Flying Lessons.”
