Clarksville to dedicate Pat Head Summitt Legacy Plaza on June 15th

Pat Head Summitt Statue, life-story display will be unveiled at Freedom Point
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville civic volunteers will achieve their goal of honoring Pat Head Summitt, hometown hero and legendary University of Tennessee women’s basketball coach, with the dedication of the Pat Head Summitt Legacy Plaza at Freedom Point next month.
A bronze statue of Coach Summitt and an interpretative display of her life story will be dedicated at 3:00pm Friday, June 15th, 2018 in Clarksville’s Liberty Park. The public is invited to the event, which will include introductions of sculptor Brett Grill, members of Pat Head Summitt’s family, dignitaries and committee members, followed by a keynote speech and unveiling of the statue.
Construction continues at the future site of the Pat Head Summitt Legacy Plaza at Freedom Point. Clarksville civic volunteers will achieve their goal of honoring Pat Head Summitt, hometown hero and legendary University of Tennessee women’s basketball coach, with the dedication next month. Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 2014-2015 Chamber Board of Directors.
The Chamber elects new leadership each fiscal year, with the fiscal year running from July 1st, 2014 to June 30th, 2015.

Aspire Clarksville Foundation annouces $4 Million Campaign Achievement

Clarksville, TN – On Monday evening, Dr. Mark Green and Joe Pitts announced that the Aspire Clarksville Foundation had garnered nearly $4 million in pledges, surpassing the current goal, and previous campaigns, by a wide margin.
Aspire Clarksville, an economic development foundation to benefit Clarksville-Montgomery County, Tennessee, officially announced in February that the goal for the entire Aspire V “Focus On The Future” Campaign was $3.8 million.
Aspire Clarksville Foundation raises nearly $4 million in pledges.
