Clarksville, TN – The hilariously funny Comedy on the Cumberland returns for another season of stand-up comedy in Clarksville, April 24th, 7:00pm at the Riverview Inn, to benefit Restore Ministries and the YMCA.
Restore Ministries is a new program that offers small groups, counseling and other services to help those in our community make lasting positive changes in their lives. No matter what needs attention and healing, Restore Ministries can provide the support and guidance a person needs to learn, grow and ultimately thrive. Restore Ministries accomplishes this two ways: counseling and small groups.

Go Commando Donates $35,000 to Local Organizations

Clarksville, TN – The Go Commando Half Marathon and 5k presented by CDE Lightband announced Tuesday they would donate $35,000 to local non-profits and community organizations. The largest recipients, Clarksville Area YMCA and Fort Campbell Historical Foundation were on hand to accept the donations.
“The intention of the Go Commando Half Marathon and 5k will always be to give back to the community; this money emphasizes that mission in a big way,” Channel Lemon, one of the Race Directors, stated.

Clarksville, TN – In this new 8-week group offered by Restore Ministries of the YMCA, participants will learn how to identify good vs. bad fear, while receiving the support, encouragement and knowledge to overcome the fear of rejection, abandonment and perfectionism.
They will begin to conquer rage, anxiety and co-dependency. Participants will learn to live boldly in the light of who they truly are and to achieve goals and dreams once stifled by fear, while building a life of faith surrender, passion and courage. [Read more]
