Clarksville, TN – On April 20th-22nd, 2017, theFestival held their annual Quilts of the Cumberland Quilt show at the Madison Street United Methodist Church. There was 42 quilts that ranged from traditional quilts to one of a kind art quilts.
This event showed how talented quilters in the area are. The quilts on display were gorgeous.
The quilt show was free and open to the public.

Clarksville, TN – The 15th annualFestival kicks off tonight, Thursday, April 20th, in Downtown Clarksville Tennessee from 5:00pm until 10:00pm. Chase & Ovation will headline the Public Square Stage tonight performing the music of Prince.
Rivers and Spires is an event for the whole family featuring children’s activities, arts vendors, a car show, military exhibits, shopping and so much more. Those that attend will have five stages of live entertainment with over 100 performers to enjoy during the three day event.

Clarksville, TN –Festival’s award winning Quilts of the Cumberland event begins Thursday, April 20th at the Madison Street United Methodist Church at 5:00pm. There will be quilts of different shapes and sizes on display to the public.
The quilts will be on display all three days of Rivers and Spires, April 20th through the April 22nd. This exhibit gives people the chance to view a variety of quilts from traditional to one of a kind art quilts by local artisans.

Clarksville, TN –held their annual Quilts of the Cumberland Quilt show on April 14th-16th at the Madison Street United Methodist Church. The show displayed a variety of quilts from traditional to one of a kind art quilts by local artists. The event was free and open to the public.
The quilts showed just how talented artists are in the area. They were simply beautiful. The event had juried exhibitions and non-juried exhibitions as well.

Clarksville, TN – What’s not to like about a free festival in the streets and venues of downtown Clarksville?Festival 2016 was all that and more with something for everyone.
You could eat everything from funnel cakes to corn dogs to fried Snickers at the street vendors’ wagons. You could hear all kinds of music from children’s choirs to rock bands. You could watch dancing from places like Hawaii and Panama or see youngsters just learning to dress up and boogie!

Clarksville, TN – On Thursday afternoon, April 14th, the 14th annualFestival started up in downtown Clarksville. There was a slight rain in the afternoon, but it tapered off, clouds parted, giving great weather to kick off the event.
The Quilts of the Cumberland exhibit at Madison Street United Methodist Church opened to the public at 5:00pm. The quilts had been judged earlier in the day so those attending rushed in to see the award winning quilts.

Clarksville, TN –Festival kicks off tonight, Thursday, April 16th with musical entertainment for everyone. This free festival will have musicians of all genres. Tonight’s hours are from 5:00pm-10:00pm.
Hadley Park will get things started on the Public Square Stage at 5:00pm. Taylor X will will hit the Strawberry Alley Stage with her heavily choreographed, dance-driven show at 5:30pm

Clarksville, TN – On Thursday, April 15th, theFestival will be holding a Trunk show at the Madison Street United Methodist Church during the Quilts of the Cumberland event.
Who loves to cut up perfectly good fabric into many pieces, and then sew them together in a different order? Quilters do!
This will be demonstrated by Starr Howell, the guest host of Thursday night’s free program entitled “Our Quilts tell Stories”.

Clarksville, TN – TheQuilts of the Cumberland Quilt Show held a Trunk Show on Thursday, April 16th at the Madison Street United Methodist Church. Charlie Rhea presented a lecture and quilt trunk show entitled “Quilting Through the Years with Jamie and Charlie.”
Jamie Williams, her friend and quilting partner, was ill and did not want to pass it around so she did not attend.
