Clarksville Regional Airport to host Vintage Warbirds tours starting July 13th

Clarksville, TN – In cities across the U.S., vintage military aircraft rest quietly in museums, where school children and tourists admire them, take their pictures, and leave them behind closed doors at the end of each day.
On July 13th, aviation history blasts out of the museums and into the skies as the Commemorative Air Force thunders into Clarksville, led by the B-17 Flying Fortress Texas Raiders.
Clarksville-Montgomery County Regional Airport becomes Green Certified

Montgomery County, TN – On Thursday, August 1st, 2019, the Clarksville-Montgomery County Regional Airport was honored as the latest Green Certified organization. A green ribbon cutting was held to celebrate the achievement and to welcome the Airport to the Green Certification Program.
The Airport is the 122nd organization to complete the Green Certification Program requirements. The green ribbon cutting was attended by Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts, City of Clarksville Chief of Staff James Halford Jr., Green Certification Program Manager Carlye Sommers, and Green Certification Program Board Members Doug Jones (Montgomery County) and Haley Randell (APSU).

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, October 14th, 2017, the Clarksville Regional Airport and the Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County are partnering with Fortera Credit Union to present the inaugural Wags & Wings Family Fun Fest.
High-flying Frisbee dogs, gourmet chicken wings, beautiful aircraft and entertainment for the whole family will highlight this new event at the Airport.

Barbara E. Johnson Park and Disc Golf Course is now open

Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville’s recently dedicated Barbara E. Johnson Park and Disc Golf Course is now open at 240 Outlaw Field Road. In addition to the existing amenities the 10 acre park, formerly Airport Park, is now equipped with a nine-hole disc golf course and new Barbara E. Johnson pavilion.
