Military and Veteran Graduate Recognition Ceremony December 7th for APSU Fall Graduates

Austin Peay State University - APSUClarksville, TN – Active duty military and veteran students graduating from Austin Peay State University in December will be honored with an APSU military coin and a special cord to wear with their commencement regalia.

The military and veteran graduate recognition and coin presentation ceremony, with the theme “All Hail to Those Who Serve,” is scheduled for 5:00pm, Wednesday, December 7th in the Mabry Concert Hall, located inside the Music/Mass Communication Building on the University campus. The event is open to the public.

Fort Campbell Welcome Home Ceremony for 200 Soldiers

Fort Campbell, KY – On November 1st, 2011 around 4:45pm, 200 soldiers from the 584th Ordnance Maintenance Company part of the 101st Sustainment Brigade “Lifeliners” returned home to Fort Campbell KY. They were returning home from a 12-month deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom where their mission was to provide field maintenance within Regional Command-East as part of the 142nd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion.

Soldiers of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team (Rakkasan) were greeter by cheers from family members and friends. A total of 189 Soldiers returned from duty in Afghanistan on this flight.

Soldiers of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team (Rakkasan) were greeted by cheers from family members and friends. A total of 157 Soldiers returned from duty in Afghanistan on this flight.

Fort Campbell, KY – On February 5th, 2011 at 5:10am, Fort Campbell KY held a welcome home ceremony for the 101st Airborne Division. 112 101st Combat Aviation Brigade (Wings of Destiny) soldiers and 113 3rd Brigade Combat Team (Rakkasan) soldiers were greeted by cheers from family members and friends. 225 Soldiers total returned from duty in Afghanistan on this flight.
